The distrust of users towards Facebook has increased notably after the serious security problems that the social network has suffered. During those controversial moments, we have given you some tricks so that you can control or even delete your Facebook account, thus putting barriers to your privacy.
If deleting your account on the platform is something too extreme for you, you can opt for other measures, such as deleting the phone number that you have linked or deleting all the photos that you have uploaded since you registered. For this last procedure, you do not need a computer; you can do it directly from your mobile in just a few seconds.
How to delete Facebook photos from the Android app
First of all, we must tell you that you can only delete those photos that you have uploaded to the platform, so you cannot do anything with the images published by other users in which you appear. You can remove the tags from those photos you have been tagged and remove them from your profile, but you cannot delete them directly.
To delete individual photos you have uploaded to Facebook from the Android app, you have to open the image in question and click on the button with three vertical dots in the upper right corner. When you do this, you will see an option called “Delete photo,” which you will have to select to permanently delete.
On the other hand, if you want to delete all the photos you have published, you can do it directly by deleting the albums. Enter your profile, click on the “Photos” section, and swipe left on the top bar to find the “Albums” section.
Go to the album you want to delete and select the menu button in the upper right corner. After doing so, you will see how two options appear below: Edit and Delete. Click on the last one to display a window that will ask you if you are sure what you will do. If you want to delete the entire album, select “Delete” to finish the process.
Repeat these steps with all the photo albums that you have published on Facebook, and you will be able to delete all the images from your mobile. If there are any individual photos left out there, you already know that you can also delete them without problems from the options menu.
How to delete all photos from the web version of Facebook
If you do not want to download the Facebook app for Android, you can delete photos from your mobile with the web version of the social network. To do it with individual images, click on the photo you want to delete and select More options> Edit photo> Delete.
You will have to follow a similar process to delete all the albums you have published. Enter the one you want to delete and click on the options menu in the upper right corner, represented by three horizontal dots. Then select Edit> Delete album to confirm that you want to delete the entire group of photos.
Thus, by deleting all the individual photos and albums that you have published on Facebook, you will be able to delete all the images that you have shared on the platform at once. As you can see, it only takes a few minutes to take more measures to protect your privacy on Mark Zuckerberg’s social network.
