SEGA and Netflix have officially announced the new Sonic animation series, whose presentation was leaked weeks ago by a message published by the popular video streaming platform. This has allowed us to know now more information about this series that will respond to the name of Sonic Prime.
Those responsible have been able to anticipate that the series will consist of 24 episodes and will be focused mainly on a family environment and for fans of the blue Hedgehog. The chapters will show us Sonic trying to save the universe and that it will be a journey of self-discovery and redemption.
A studio will carry out the animation WildBrain Studios (Carmen Sandiego, Mega Man: Fully Charged or Ninjago) in Vancouver, while Man of Action Entertainment (Ben 10 and Big Hero 6) will be in charge of the scripts and production of the Serie. The announcement of the series has also been produced on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Sonic, and its managers affirm that they intend to attract especially children between 6 and 11 years old, as well as lifelong fans, to celebrate its premiere together when taking place in 2022.
