Many waited for the arrival of the first Xiaomi smartwatch, and it is finally here. But, despite its name, the new smartwatch that Xiaomi has decided to bring to Spain is not the original Xiaomi Mi Watch that the brand launched in 2019, but a new version that lands for 129 euros.
The new Xiaomi Mi Watch is a smartwatch that does not stand out for its technical section or its hardware but rather for offering everything that many would look for in a sports-focused smartwatch, at a price that is easier to digest than alternatives. Like Samsung’s Galaxy Watch3 or Apple Watch.

Unlike the original Mi Watch, this new model comes with a circular format that leaves room for a 1.39-inch screen based on full-color AMOLED technology, capable of reaching a maximum brightness level of 450 nits.
Its body is built in metal, but despite this, Xiaomi ensures that it is a comfortable and light device, weighing only 32 grams.
Of course, the watch strap is interchangeable, and Xiaomi will offer different styles to choose from.

Like any good sports-focused smartwatch, the activity detection and health monitoring functions could not be missing. In this case, we have a heart rate and blood oxygen reader, water resistance that allows the watch to be submerged up to 50 meters deep, 117 built-in sport modes, a sleep monitor, and a stress and energy monitor.
In addition, like the rest of the watches created so far by Xiaomi, this 2020 Mi Watch stands out for an excellent autonomy of up to 16 days, thanks to its 420 mAh battery capacity. Once it is time to go through the charger, Xiaomi incorporates a magnetic charging system that facilitates placing the watch on its charging base.
Another interesting addition is the integration of the Amazon Alexa Assistant. It will be possible to interact to obtain information through voice commands using the microphone built into the watch.
