Surely you all remember that incredible moment when Keanu Reeves appeared during the Microsoft conference at E3 2019. It was undoubtedly an event to remember for the gaming community, with the rise of the legendary meme “You are breathtaking!”.

The actor has been in charge of giving voice and appearance to Johnny Silverhand, one of the main characters of Cyberpunk 2077. Of course, Johnny’s appearance has changed over time, since in the beginning, it was just a concept.

Now, thanks to the drawings of Lea Leonowicz, Concept Artist and Coordinator of CD Projekt RED, we’ve been able to get a glimpse of Johnny from the past. You can check out his Artstation profile, where he has many more illustrations Cyberpunk 2077 concept .

Most obvious, of course, is the change in the face. Here the character does not have a beard and seems older than we could see him in the final work.

The drawings feature quite a few scars around the body, as well as tattoos. Also, the silver arm changes from being on the left to the right, as can be seen in some profile pictures. Even at some point, he seems to have an air of Keith Richards.

We do not know the date of creating these conceptual arts, although they must be well before the date of that famous E3 in 2019. The truth is, we prefer Johnny from Keanu, but it is not harmful to know the origins of the character.
