One of the most memorable moments from past E3 was Keanu Reeves’ appearance in Cyberpunk 2077. The actor, famous for playing Neo in The Matrix, John Wick in his trilogy, and many more films, seems quite excited about his role in the CD Projekt RED game.

This has been stated by the actor who dubs his voice typically into Italian, Lucca Ward, in an interview with journalist Gian Luca Rocco (via WCCFTech ). Keanu Reeves liked his role so much that he doubled the presence of Johnny Silverhand, his character, in the game. Consequently, Lucca Ward also had to fold more script pages.

And that in itself, due to its nature, Silverhand appears quite a bit. It is about a character stuck in the protagonist V’s head, who always speaks to him as if he were his conscience or some virtual ghost.

It makes sense that good old Keanu did this, because recently on CD Projekt RED, they confirmed that his character is the second with the second most lines of dialogue in the entire title, only behind V. It is clear that this is much more than a cameo.

Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to launch on April 16, 2020. It will be out on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
