The paths of the Galaxy A range are inscrutable and sometimes there are launches that we don’t expect, at least in the way they arrive. A month ago the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G arrived, a mid-range mobile with a particular design but rather modest in general, and now the new Samsung Galaxy A32 4G has arrived, which despite seeming even more basic has some improved features.
It is, as can be deduced, a mobile that remains in 4G in terms of connectivity when changing the processor, also remaining in the MediaTek house. But the A32 4G clears its throat on the screen and main sensor, so let’s see what else this new mid-range mobile has.

Looking for the main claim on the screen
One of the aspects that we highlighted from the first A32 was that design in which there was no protruding module for cameras, instead, they came out directly in the style of the LG Velvet. This pattern is repeated in its 4G twin, this time available in black, purple, and blue.
Beyond this, what stands out is the front, but not precisely because of the design (because a notch is maintained that already begins to seem like it from another era): in the Galaxy A32 4G, they take the step towards 90 Hz, something which we did not see in the 5G version. It is the first of this family that reaches this refresh rate, and apparently, they have taken advantage of it so that the screen itself is better for more aspects.
In addition to the refresh rate, this time we see a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with Full HDR resolution, unlike the IPS HD + that we saw in its predecessor. In fact, with this technology change, the A32 4G adds the fingerprint reader under the screen, thus being a little more within current trends.
4G does not imply a change in the battery, but it does in photography
As we anticipated in the introduction, in this case, a processor is also chosen from the MediaTek house, but leaving aside the modem that would allow it to connect to the fashionable network. We see in the A32 4G the Helio G80, at the time aimed at promoting gaming in the mid-range, accompanied by 4, 6, or 8 GB of RAM with up to 128 GB of storage (or up to 1 TB with microSD), like the A32 5G.
For a practically identical model, the same battery has been used, again seeing a 5,000 mAh battery with a 15-watt fast charge. It comes with One UI 3 on Android, the version of which we don’t know yet (but looking at the A32 5G it’s probably Android 10).
And about photography, we see the third main difference, in this case, to improve the previous one. The four rear chambers repeat the hackneyed scheme of the moment, but a higher resolution sensor is added for the main camera. They look like this in total:
- Main camera: 64-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens.
- Wide angle with an 8-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.2 aperture lens.
- Macro with a 5-megapixel sensor and a lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
- Portrait camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and f/2.4 aperture lens.
- Front camera: 20-megapixel sensor.
