Sony has wasted no time after announcing the launch of Days Gone on PC, and the game page already appears on Steam listing images, its release date, and, how could it be otherwise, also the minimum and recommended requirements to play it on PC.
The good news is that on April 26, we will be able to enjoy Days Gone with quite earthly requirements and, with any luck, we will be able to avoid the bad news of the performance problems that some users suffered from the jump from Horizon Zero Dawn to PC…
Minimum requirements
As you will see below, we must not sell our soul to the devil to play Days Gone in minimally acceptable conditions. Of course, the 16 GB of RAM and an SSD disk are strongly recommended to anticipate load times and performance that could be far from ideal. We will see what happens there.
pulled apart | Minimum requirements |
---|---|
Operating system | Windows 10 64-bits |
Processor | Intel Core [email protected] o AMD FX [email protected] |
Memoria Ram | 8 GB |
Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB) |
Directx | Version 11 |
Storage | 70 GB |
additional notes | SSD device and 16GB memory recommended |
Recommended Requirements
Without great fuss or in the recommended ones beyond that 70 GB of the disk that are going to have more than a low-capacity SSD. You can’t wait to see how the game looks on PC and how it handles the famous hordes of zombies from the adventure Bend Studio.

We are left with the doubt of to what extent it will be necessary to add fuel to the fire to those requirements to achieve ultra quality. These requirements will probably be saved for another time to warm up the game’s launch.
As recognized by Sony recently, Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, and Days Gone will not be the only games of the company to land on PC, so if you want to get the hang of any of them so far, exclusive to the platform, cross over the fingers.
