How to control your Android with Harry Potter spells thanks to Google Assistant

As we have already said on more than one occasion, Google Assistant, Android’s virtual assistant, is capable of doing almost anything you ask of it. The same thing reminds you where you have parked that a reggaeton sings to you. It can do whatever you ask, and if you are passionate about the famous Harry Potter wizarding saga, this article is going to enchant you, as we are going to teach you how to control your mobile using some of the most famous spells. It sounds geekier than it is, really.

How to control your Android with Harry Potter spells thanks to Google Assistant 1A couple of years ago, back in November 2016, and taking advantage of the release of the movie “Fantastic Animals and Where to Find Them,” Google implemented a series of spells in its assistant to give it a “magical” touch. Thanks to them, you can turn the flashlight on and off, in addition to putting the phone on silence. How do you do it? Very simple, you have to invoke Google Assistant with the command “OK Google” and say the following:
  • Lumos: the flashlight will turn on.
  • Nox: the flashlight will turn off.
  • Mute: the phone will be muted.

Unfortunately, these are the only three spells that are available. It would be great to say “Avada Kedavra” and for the phone to turn off or “Cruciatus” to flood a WhatsApp chat and drive its participants crazy, although it is not possible – unfortunately -. Be that as it may, it is one more curiosity that allows us to get the most out of Google Assistant.
