LG’s K line has focused on offering devices with fewer features than the top of the range in exchange for also considerably reducing their price. In this line, a new model is now added, the K92 5G. A mobile that, as its name suggests, brings us 5G connectivity to one of the cheapest mobiles with this feature.
5G connectivity is not the only thing that makes the new LG K92 5G stand out. In addition to this, it comes with interesting specifications such as the system of four rear cameras or its 6 GB RAM. LG’s bet for the mid-range
LG has proposed different ideas over the past few months for its catalog, with the LG Wing perhaps being one of the most prominent. In this case, the K92 5G focuses on two clear aspects: 5G connectivity and price reduction. Something that we have also seen with the recent Google Pixel 4a 5G among others.
The first thing that stands out about this phone is its perforated IPS LCD panel with a size of 6.7 inches. This gives us a FullHD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. That perforation on the screen is to place a 16 MP front camera, while in the back we have four more. They are the following:
- Main: 64 megapixels (81˚ / F1.78 / 0.7 μm)
- Super wide angle: 5 megapixels (115˚ / F2.2 / 1.12 μm)
- Macro: 2 megapixels (88.8˚ / F2.4 / 1.75μm)
- Bokeh: 2 megapixels (84˚/F2.4/1.75μm)
Inside the LG K92 5G, we find a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G processor accompanied by an Adreno 619L GPU. It is not exactly the most powerful of all, although it is enough to offer 5G connectivity and performance in line with the mid-range. This is helped by 6 GB RAM and a storage of up to 128 GB with the possibility of being expanded by MicroSD.
For the rest, the phone comes with a side fingerprint reader as a biometric security method, as well as the LG 3D Sound Engine sound brand. Regarding the battery, we have one with a capacity of 4,000 mAh that allows fast charging by Quick Charge 4. There are no details about its theoretical autonomy.
Versions and prices of the K92 5G
The mobile is only available in a version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. At the moment the new LG K92 5G arrives in the United States as the initial country. There it will be on sale starting November 6 for $359. Unfortunately, there is still no date or price for Spain or other countries globally.
