The new Samsung Galaxy A21s has been announced with an infographic that confirms its official characteristics, although we already knew some details previously due to some leaks. We have a mid-range mobile with a 6.5-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels.
The chosen format is a 20:9 panoramic panel with a hole in the upper left part. Samsung does a good job of compacting, although the panel density is below what is shown in the competition. A factor that, yes, will help improve performance.
At the power level, we have a 2 GHz octa-core processor, a frequency that confirms the commitment to the new Exynos 850 processor, not yet officially announced but observed in Geekbench. It is not a high-end chipset, as the performance is comparable to that offered by the Snapdragon 450.
Accompanying this new processor, we have a RAM that starts at 3 GB and can reach 6 GB in the top model. For storage, we have from 32 GB to 64 GB, expandable with a microSD card of up to 512 GB.
It is in the battery where we have the best news, since this Galaxy A21s incorporates 5,000 mAh, with a 15W fast charge. The device has LTE connectivity, GPS, NFC in selected markets, a USB C port, and comes with Android 10 and One UI. The Galaxy A21s incorporates facial recognition and a rear physical fingerprint reader for the biometric section.
For the photographic section, we have four rear cameras, along with a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens, just below the hole in the screen.
The main sensor is 48 megapixels, with an f/2.0 lens. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.2 lens for the super wide angle. Finally, to complete the quad camera we have a two-megapixel sensor for the macro and another two-megapixel sensor to perform the bokeh effect.
