In the Samsung Galaxy S7, the screen remains at 5.1 inches, an ideal size for many because it is neither too big nor too small. The South Korean firm has managed to make good use of the space – 72% of the front is a screen -, as we are used to, so the terminal barely exceeds 14 centimeters in height. Of course, the panel also features Super AMOLED technology and Quad HD resolution, which translates to no less than 577 pixels per inch.

If we go inside, the chipset that gives it life is the Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890, a powerful octa-core accompanied by the Mali-T880 MP12 650 MHz graphic unit. It should be noted that there is also a model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820, but the Exynos is the one we have reviewed and the primary model to be sold worldwide. Along with this chip, we have 4 GB of RAM with the most modern technology in mobile phones, LPDDR4, and UFS 2.0 memory of 32 or 64 GB for internal storage, with the possibility of expanding it via microSD.
In the photography section, we see an improved primary camera compared to the previous generation of Samsung Galaxy, thanks to a 12-megapixel sensor and a better focal aperture (f / 1.7). It incorporates Dual Pixel Sensor technology, optical image stabilizer, and dual flash LED. As for the front camera, we have a 5-megapixel sensor with the same aperture as its rear camera.
The rest of the features are summarized in a state- software of-the-art, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz as the leading actor, all kinds of connectivity, although the FM radio is still missing as is customary in Samsung, and there is still no trace of the USB type- C, and a 3000 mAh battery, 600 less than in the Galaxy S6 edge.
